“MEDICINE WITH A HEART – THE CONNECTION BETWEEN BODY AND MIND”

 Training for Medical Specialists

The primary focus of activity at the Bulgarian Institute for Neo-Reichian Analytical Psychotherapy (BINAP) is a four-year postgraduate specialization in body psychotherapy. Part of the subjects studied are medical. Health is an integrative concept referring to both the body and the soul. Our experience has shown that many medical professionals could enrich their knowledge through psychotherapeutic material.

Therefore, starting in 2025, our Institute annually organizes training for medical professionals entitled “MEDICINE WITH A HEART – THE CONNECTION BETWEEN BODY AND MIND.” This program aims to provide additional knowledge regarding potential psychological tools and approaches when working with patients, communicating with colleagues, and preventing occupational stress. The course will also cover basic psychosomatic patterns, as psychogenic factors lie at the core of many physical illnesses. Participants will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with various psychotherapeutic tools applicable both in their practice with patients and for personal benefit.
The training consists of seven three-hour online modules and one three-day in-person practical seminar. The online modules will be recorded, and if a participant is unable to attend live (as some doctors work abroad), they will be provided with the recording.
All participants will receive an access link to a folder containing presentations, video recordings, recommended reading, course descriptions, and contact details of fellow trainees (optional).

Participants will receive a certificate of completion. Note: The certificate does not authorize the practice of the psychotherapy profession.

Price for the seven online modules and the practical seminar: €840 (VAT included)
